Privacy Policy
This policy describes what actually happens when you visit workintelhub.com. It is written against how the site is currently built rather than from a template, and it will be updated when that changes. Questions go to info@workintelhub.com.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect names, postal addresses, or payment details, because there is nothing to buy here and nothing to log into. We do not sell or rent data about visitors to anyone.
About the subscribe box
Not live yet. The subscribe form is built but not yet connected to its storage, so today it returns an error and keeps nothing. The rest of this section describes what will happen once that connection is finished, and we will remove this paragraph on the day it goes live.
If you enter an address in the subscribe form, we store it. We keep the address itself, the date and time you submitted it, the page you submitted it from, and the two letter country code our host reports for the connection. We do not store your IP address or your name.
That record is written to a private Google Sheet, which makes Google a processor of it. The form is served through Cloudflare, our host, which handles the request in transit. We use the address for one purpose, which is to send you the email described next to the form. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Two things we would rather you heard from us than discovered. There is currently no confirmation step, so an address is recorded the moment it is submitted, which means somebody could enter yours. And no mailing has been sent yet, so if you sign up today you are joining a list rather than starting a subscription. Write to info@workintelhub.com at any time and we will delete your address, no reason required.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles people read and how they arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information including your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, your browser and device, the pages you view, and the site or search that referred you. We use this in aggregate to decide what to write next. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we do not combine analytics data with anything else.
Google acts as our processor for this and handles the data under its own terms. You can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser or with an extension. This site works normally without them.
Other third parties involved in loading this site
- Google Fonts. Typography is loaded from Google's font servers, which means Google receives a request from your browser, including your IP address, when a page loads. No cookie is set by this.
- Cloudflare. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests in order to deliver pages and protect the site.
- Google Search. The search box in the header does not search this site directly. It opens a Google search restricted to workintelhub.com in a new tab, which means your search term is sent to Google and is covered by Google's privacy policy rather than this one.
Links inside our articles point to outside sites such as research publishers and government pages. Once you follow one, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics, described above. We set no advertising cookies, and there are no advertising or social media tracking pixels anywhere on this site. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to anything here.
If you email us
When you write to info@workintelhub.com we keep the message so we can reply and, where it is a correction, so there is a record of what changed and why. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold almost nothing, in practice this usually concerns analytics data held by Google or an email you have sent us. Write to info@workintelhub.com and we will explain what exists and act on the request.
Children
This site is written for people managing teams at work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything that collects data, such as a working newsletter, comments, or embedded media, we will update this page and change the date at the top before that feature goes live.
